T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Scholarship
Early childhood professionals who have higher education have been shown to have a better understanding of child development and to be more responsive to the educational and academic needs of young children.
Early childhood education professionals including directors, teachers, and family child care providers who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply.
- Employed full-time in a licensed early childhood setting or at least 20 hours a week if working towards Early Childhood Teacher qualifications and at least 30 hours a week if working toward an associate or bachelor degree.
- Have worked at current early childhood program for at least 90 days by the start of the scholarship
- Meets income guidelines. As an owner or director, earning $25 per hour or less. As teaching professionals, earning $17 per hour or less. Exceptions may be made for rural resort counties
T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Scholarship®
If you are a director, teacher, or family child care provider in the state of Colorado, you are eligible to apply. This model supports those seeking licensing requirements, an associate degree, or a bachelor’s degree.
Please note. Due to a funding shortage, we are not currently awarding new scholarships.

The Denver Preschool Program T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Scholarship®
If you work in Denver County at a participating Denver Preschool Program (DPP) site and you are the director, teacher or family child care provider, you are eligible to apply. Applicants must work with DPP eligible four-year-old children or be the director of the DPP site. Infant and toddler teachers are not eligible. This model supports those seeking an associate’s degree, a bachelor’s degree, a pathway to credential or positive teacher-child interactions.

If you are a director or teacher in a KinderCare Education program, you are eligible to apply. This model supports directors and teachers seeking an associate’s degree.
